Zero Devices Z802: Android 4.0 mini computer

Update: Sold Out. You may place your order for the second batch.

Zero Devices sells a mini PC running Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich . For 76 dollars, it is equipped with a ARM Cortex-A8 1.5 GHz processor, 512 MB of DDR3 RAM and 4 GB of storage, expandable via an SD card, all in a package the size of a USB key.

Zero Devices has thought on all those seeking a little extra computer, easily transportable. To use it, it must be connected to a TV or monitor that accepts HDMI input (or use an adapter). It is then possible to connect a keyboard and mouse through a USB port. Finally, 4GB of internal storage can be expanded through an MicroSD / MicroSDHC card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.

It is supplied with 5 volts – with an adapter – and has a wireless network connection Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.

While the Raspberry Pi is intended primarily for hackers, the Z802 is delivered turnkey and can be easily used by the general public. Customer reviews have not yet been published and must therefore rely solely on its features to get an idea of its usefulness. But at 76 dollars, the risk is not too large.
