VIA EPIA-P910: Pico-ITX with Quad-Core CPU and DX11 3D graphics

VIA Technologies, specialized in low power and small form factor computing solutions, has announced its first pico-ITX motherboard that integrates a quad-core processor and graphics unit with DirectX 11 and 3D support.

This is the VIA EPIA-P910, which combines a VIA Quad-Core E-series processor clocked at 1.0GHz with a VIA VX11H MSP chipset (Media System Processor) that integrates a VIA Chrome 640/645 GPU with support for DirectX 11 and stereo 3D, all in a small Pico-ITX board (10cm x 7.2cm), ideal for the medical equipment, logistics, mini computers, home theater pcs, digital signage markets, etc etc..

The Pico-ITX VIA EPIA-P910 supports up to 8GB of DDR3-1333 MHz RAM, HD audio, as well as HD video decoder for high performance (VIA Chromotion 5.0 video processor), plus HDMI, VGA and LVDS video outputs. This board on its rear panel includes one HDMI 1.4a port, 1 VGA port, two USB 3.0 ports and 1 GigaLAN port.

The board includes a slot where you can add an expansion board to provide additional 6 USB 2.0 ports, LPC connector, SMBus connector, PS/2, audio jacks, LVSD, 4 pairs of DIO and two UART ports.
