Unlike the Atom D2700, the D2500 does not support Blu-ray 2.0

The info comes from Fudzilla. It shows that despite the Full HD support, some of the Intel Atom Cedarview do not support Blu-ray 2.0 playback (interaction with BD-Live and BD-Java).

In fact, only the Atom D2700 (dual core at 2.16 GHz) will play Blu-ray, thanks to its graphic chipset running at 640MHz. It’s little brother, the D2500 (dual core at 1.86 GHz) and its GPU running at only 400MHz, will not support the Blu-ray Profile 2.0 specifications, a standard that is however widespreaded on the curent blu-ray disks. However, you should check all of this to understand the caused limitations…
