Tuniq Announces HD-Box Full HD Media Player

PC cooling manufacturer, Tuniq, has made their foray into the digital entertainment market with the HD-BOX. The Tuniq HD-Box is a media player that can stream content found on its internal drive (not included), a home network, or external storage devices to your HDTV.

 

Tuniq HD-Box player is equipped with a card reader (SD/MMC/MS Pro), USB 2.0 port, and a slot for 3.5-inch SATA hard drive (not included). In addition, the HD-Box provides Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps), HDMI connector and composite video output.

 The HD-BOX is a high quality digital media playback system that supports a wide array of file format such as MPG, MOV, RM, WMV, Xvid, H.264, etc. It is also capable of displaying common image formats for viewing your favorite pictures. Audio playback is also supported in many different formats. The installation of the HD-BOX is straight forward and easy to do; just install the hard drive (maximum size of 2TB) from the side panel and you are ready to go. One additional and frequently overlooked feature that HD-BOX offers is the multi-lingual user interface. This localization feature really adds convenience during operation.
Tuniq’s HD-Box measures 190 x 170 x 65 mm and has an aluminum enclosure. Unfortunately, the cost of new Tuniq HD-Box digital media player is not yet announced.
