The Thin-ITX motherboards from ECS

ECS has announced the launch of several models of Thin-ITX motherboards. This format is to like the dimensions of a Mini-ITX motherboard, or 170 x 170 mm, but with a height limited to 25 mm for the I/O Shield (against 44 mm for an I/O Shield Classic).

These new motherboards, there are the H61H2-IT, H61H2-G11 and CDC-IT.

With a LGA 1155 socket and therefore compatible with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge processors, the H61H2-IT uses an Intel H61. It has two SO-DIMM DDR3connectors (for up to 16 GB of memory), two SATA 3 Gbps ports, two Mini-PCIe, a mSATA connector, two USB 3.0 ports and  HDMI input/output.

The CDC-IT has a Atom D2500, D2550 or D2700 processor, depending on version. There are also two SO-DIMM DDR3 connectors (4 GB max), two SATA 3Gbps, two Mini-PCIe connector, two USB 2.0 ports and VGA, HDMI and LVDS. We remark this design is entirely fanless.

The price of these different boards is unknown.
