The SilverStone Grandia GD07 is E-ATX compatible

After a presentation in October and a passage at CES, the GD07 is officially launched by SilverStone. A new Grandia which deserves its name, as the chassis is monstrous. Think, an E-ATX compatible HTPC, we don’t see it every day. However, the case is compact, only 440 x 175 x 435mm.

Behind a door giving access to the power button, there are two vertical 5.25″ bays, on the left, and two horizontal on the right, with the connector below, consists of two SuperSpeed ​​and sound.

For storage, we have the right to a huge cage, which has five 3.5″ and two 2.5″ spots, no less. And yet, we do not speak about the GD08 which replaces two 5.25″ slots for 3.5″…

Basic ventilation is provided by three 120mm @ 900rpm. It may be possible to put two 80mm extraction.  But above all, we will ahve to see what is the CPU cooling, which seems to rise to 138mm in height.
