Team Group Value-A1: A SSD to update your old PC

Team Group presented its Value-A1 SSD which proposes to update old platforms to improve its performance.

Compliant with SATA 2 3Gb/s and based on a Phison 3105 memory controller, it offers speeds of up to 210 MB/s sequential write, 270 MB/s sequential read, 6000 IOPS 4K random write and 15,000 IOPS 4K random read.

They also announced the 20G vibration resistance and  1500G shock resistance, as well as with the operating temperatures ranging from 0 to 70 degrees and with a humidity up to 95%. It finally shows a consumption of 0.2 watts at idle and 4.7 watts in operation.

Four capacities of 30GB, 60GB, 120GB and 240 GB are available. Enough to integrate any SSD only configuration or a hybrid SSD + HDD config.

The Team Group Value-A1 SSD is expected soon to arrive on the shelves. It will have a manufacturer’s warranty of three years. It remains to know the prices of different capacities, on which nothing has leaked yet.
