While Yamaha offers, for some months now, the AV-Controller application, offering the possibility of controlling an AV amplifier from devices running IOS and Android, the manufacturer has recently proposed a new update to stream music . Since the last update, the Yamaha AV-Controller application (since v2.0) is capable of streaming music from a tablet or smartphone running Android or iOS, via MusicPlay function. This makes it possible to create playlists directly from the tablet, the song title and album art is then sent to the amplifier. The application can be downloaded from iOS  and Android.
