Silverstone SG08 Case Review

NinjaLane made its verdict on the new Silverstone cubic case, namely the SG08. Remember that this is a clean version of SG07, including a new front featuring brushed aluminum, very classy, and USB 3.0 ports on the front.

In addition to these aesthetic and functional aspects, the observation made in relation to the SG08 is not really different from the SG07. There are therefore a perfect package for mounting a high-end Mini-ITX config with a good processor and a big graphics card (the test is performed with a GTX 580), all powered by the power of a 80+ Bronze 600W , and cooled by a semi-quiet 180mm double speed fan.

Pros
  • Modern GPU Support
  • Included 80 Plus Bronze PSU
  • Monster 180mm Cooling
  • Dual Speed Fan Controller
  • Thick Aluminum Front Panel
Cons
  • Limited to use OEM heatsinks
  • There is nowhere to hide cables
  • HDDs get no direct cooling
  • 180mm fan cannot be removed from the case
