Silverstone proposes to cool your processor in a fanless way, that is to say without the aid of a fan with its last cooler, the Heligon HE02.
The Heligon HE02 is a CPU cooler compatible with Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/1366/2011 and AMD AM2/AM3/FM1/FM2. It comes with a copper base dissipating the heat through a multitude of aluminum fins via six 6 mm heatpipes. The design is optimized for dissipation and compatibility. The manufacturer emphasizes that its double cross shape maximizes the cooling surface and at the same time eases the installation on all motherboards and cases.
The Heligon HE02 is capable of cooling, in fanless mode, a processor with a thermal envelope of 95W (Core i7-2600K, for example) or even 130Ws with the presence of fans in this case. This bundle includes an additional fan in the context of using a processor with TDP up to 150 Watts.
In short, the Heligon HE02 is presented as a powerful solution especially silent.
It will be interesting to follow with attention the first independent tests. Checkout the Hexus review. It’s now available at a recommended price of $65, which puts it on the high-end segment.
