Our colleagues at Guru 3D have examined an E-ATX compatible case, designed for HTPC: the SilverStone GD07. Indeed, it measures no less than 440 x 435 x 175 mm and weighs not less than 7 kg.
This black monolith can accommodate an E-ATX motherboard, an ATX power supply, 18cm long. As for graphics cards, our colleagues were able to install their GeForce GTX 690 and their 280mm safely. Five 3.5-inch drive bays are available, as well as two in 2.5-inch format. Behind the front panel there are two 5.25 inch bays for optical drives. Two USB 3.0 ports and two audio jacks for microphone and headphones completes the picture.
The cooling system is complete with no less than 6 slots available, and all are equipped with dust filters: 2×80 mm rear, 2×120 mm including one on the side that comes standard, and finally 2x120mm are default installed on the bottom.
Announced for $140, this colossus is able to convince our colleagues?
