Shuttle SH61R4: a Sandy Bridge Barebone with Attractive Price

Shuttle has announced the launch of SH61R4, a mini PC built with a motherboard FH61 (i.e. based on the Intel H61) and, consequently, to Sandy Bridge processors.

This barebone design is quite similar to other Shuttle’s models, ir supports up to 8 GB of DDR3 memory (two DIMM slots). Has a PCI-Express 2.0 16x, a PCI-Express 1x and a Mini-PCIe 1x. There are also USB 2.0 ports (2 front, 6 back) and 3.0 (two back), audio controller and Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek RTL 8111E), but no memory card reader.

Grphics is trusted to the Intel GMA HD 2000/3000 built into the processor, providing two DVI outputs (DVI-D and DVI-I). There are also two internal compartments of 3.5 inches and a 5.25-inch present. This new barebone computer is available for €205.
