Sapphire HD 7750 Ultimate: A fanless graphics card

Two weeks after the official announcement of AMD’s “Cape Verde” chips, Sapphire launches Radeon HD 7750 Ultimate. This model will keep your ears in theĀ utmost tranquility, as its main advantage lies in its fanless cooling system.

This graphics card complies the reference frequencies recommended by AMD. Indeed, the GPU runs at 800 MHz while the 1GB of GDDR5 memory is clocked at 2250 MHz. There will be no change in performance.

The cooling is provided by a single sink, no fan. It consists of a plurality of blocks comprising a large number of aluminum fins. To improve heat transfer, we note the presence of four heat pipes. The set occupies at least two slots.

Regarding the video outputs, it has Dual Link DVI, HDMI 1.4a and a Display Port 1.2.

Sapphire announces availability in the coming days, but without specifying the price. It will be interesting to observe the first independent analysis to see the behavior of the cooling system, especially on the temperature.
