Psiu… Roku 2 Series Players is coming

The FCC filing lists the three models as the 3000X, 3050X and the 3100X and they all offer similar specs not unlike the current lineup.

The new Roku 2 Players  series enhance a new design in its compactness. Unlike the Apple TV, Roku’s new 2 series players are quite capable, offering up to 1080p video via HDMI, USB host support, a microSD slot, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and 5.1 surround sound. In other things new… owners can expect to get a reset button (in the off chance things freeze up) and an RF remote option with the HD model, providing users a greater range of control without IR’s line-of-sight drawbacks. Interestingly, Roku decided to forego Ethernet connectivity in its two entry models (XS, XD) — most likely in an effort to keep costs low for the consumer.
