PhotoFast GMonster3 XV2 2.5″ SSDs

The new GMonster3 XV2 isn’t aimed for just enthusiast but also consumers.

This enabled the Gmonster3 XV2 to reach sequential read speeds of up to 500MB/s as well as a maximum sequential write speed of 450MB/s.

The new drive is built using MLC NAND Flash cells and PhotoFast says this it features an advanced garbage collection algorithm that protects the SSD from performance degradation.

Available in capacities of 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB; the GMonster3 XV2 drives will be priced at $110, $200, $400 and $800, respectively, when initially released in Japan, later this year in April.
