OpenELEC presented yesterday the Beta 2 of its long awaited. This version has solved 75 open spots on the Beta 1, with a total of 137 changes by 11 developers.

The major changes are:
- add RTL8168 Network driver support
- embed Realtek network firmware in kernel for faster PXE boot with Realtek network cards
- update to kernel 3.2.15
- update to Mesa-8.0.2
- update to Python-2.7.3
- update to libcec-1.6.1 (for more information and for upgrading the Pulse-Eight CEC adpater firmware to version 2.0 see http://blog.pulse-eight.com/2012/04/19/v2-firmware-is-here NOTE: if you upgrade the CEC adapter firmware to v2.0 a older release/build will not work with your CEC adapter anymore)
