Our colleagues at Guru3D took advantage of the the imminent release of the new AMD’s APU to look into the motherboards that host these processors. Thus, they now published a complete test of the MSI FM2 A85XA-G65.
The board is equipped with a A85X chipset, the highest quality available for socket FM2, it is rather intended to receive a A8 and A10 APU series, although nothing prevents you to put any other processor on the socket slot.
Regarding connectivity, this motherboard is equipped with two PCIe 2.0 x16 Crossfire ports. We also find eight SATA 6 Gbps ports supporting RAID 0/1/5/10 and four USB 3.0 ports, two on the rear panel.
This motherboard is sold around $120, but it able to convince our colleagues, its connectivity, or capacity for overclocking? The answer is in the article that guru3d.com wrote.
