MSI takes advantage of Computex 2012 to show its A85IA-E53 motherboard (MS-7792), a Mini-ITX model with a FM2 socket and based on a AMD A75 chipset (not on an A85 as might be assumed by the name).
Boasting a power stage to 5 stages, the A85IA-E53 accepts any A4, A6, A8 or A10 APU in FM2 format. It has a PCI-Express 2.0 x16, two DDR3-1866 connectors (for up to 16 GB of memory), four SATA 6 Gbps and four USB 3.0 connectors. Audio controllers, 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth are present, as well as VGA and HDMI outputs.
In short, everything needed to mount an HTPC worthy of the name. It remains to know the price and availability date for this motherboard.
