Mede8er MED1000X3D: very complete media player

Mede8er unveiled today its new media player, the Mede8er MED1000X3D. Showing a fanless aluminum design which contrasts completely with the MED500X2 line, the most important is the integration of the new Realtelk RTD1186 (750 MHz) chipset supported by 512 MB of RAM. A chip which already included in the Xtreamer Sidewinder 3 and Prodigy, and provides support for ISO Blu-ray 3D in addition to conventional Side-by-Side  & Top-and Bottom 3D video.

The Support for HD audio in bitstream will obviously be present, as well as the ISO Blu-ray and DVD, MKV, AVI, M2TS, WAV & FLAC 192/24, etc.. The media player is compatible with the uPnP (DLNA) and SMB file sharing. For the browser interface it will be possible to install themes created by the Mede8er community, and there is the Wall Media Library Video covers system, and Internet services like Youtube XL, Web browser, access to Internet radio, Flickr, Picasa and others.

The MED1000X3D media player is equipped with a 3.5″ HDD rack compatible up to 3TB, HDMI 1.4 (1080p/24) and RCA, two USB 2.0 ports plus a USB 3.0 Host, optical and coaxial outputs, a Gigabit Ethernet port and a memory card reader. Note that the media player remote control is backlit.
