LG introduces a new LED projector, the LG PA70G, an ultraportable model announced by the manufacturer as the brightest in the world, capable of displaying a brightness of 700 ANSI lumens. LG also take this opportunity to announce a second video projector, a little less bright (500 ANSI lumens), but the peculiarity of the LG PB60G lies rather on its compact dimensions.
These two models equipped with an LED lamp whose duration is announced to nearly 30 000 hours, have a contrast ratio of 15 000:1, and a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels supporting resolutions of 1080p and WUXGA (1680 x 1050 pixels) to VGA. The projected image size goes up to 40″ at 1.2 m and 100″ at 2.4 m, with a 16:10 ratio. Able of playing video files, music and photos, these two projectors are also equipped with DivX HD certification, and have a Office and PDF files reader by connecting an external HDD or USB stick.
The built-in stereo speakers presents a 3W (PA70G) and 1W (PB60G) output power. The connectivity concentrates on the essentials like HDMI, Component, Composite, VGA and VGA audio, a 3.5mm output and a USB port.
Prices and release dates are yet unknown. The PA70G has a target price of 800$ while the PB60G is 550$. They will be released on latter August.
