This is a GREAT full-featured/loaded computer; and at $750, it’s an absolute must-buy steal!

I bought the VISTA version of this last year with the free upgrade to Windows 7 (prior to Windows 7 launch). It got decent reviews on C-net and Consumer Reports. C-net criticized it due to a the possibility of pinching a finger at the base of the computer; I think you have to be pretty dumb to have that happen! The positive trade-off: it is a beautiful looking computer (compare it to HP Touchsmart)! The Lenovo is not a touchscreen computer–I don’t need or want a touchscreen anyway.

Prior to the Windows 7 upgrade, I was very irritated by the lengthy boot-up time of 2-3 minutes; however, after the Windows 7 upgrade, it boots up reasonably quickly.

The instructions are poor. I had to figure out many controls and features on my own.

I highly recommend this item, especially at this price! — Beautiful computer

My old desktop was six years old and I have a newborn son at home so it was time to eliminate some clutter and some cords. After looking at the Gateway and HP touchscreen PCs I realized that this Lenovo is a better value because I had no need for the touch screen on those other machines. The computer is fast, has an amazing screen and great sound. I really like that the hard drive can be accessed for replacement in case of failure. The keyboard and mouse are also pretty slick although I miss the numeric pad on the keyboard.

My only complaint is that the integrated webcam is not any better than a netbook. We skype with my son’s grandparents all of the time and will probably have to buy a better camera soon. — Great All-In One

Got this PC from Amazon about 1 month ago, promo price at 899. Good deal, but there are better alternatives. I should have considered the HP’s first
Some Pros
– All in one,
-Easy setup, works out of the box
– slick keyboard, mouse, remote etc.
– nice camera and other features
– have not tried the Bluray player yet, but DVD’s work great
– Media Center with TV option is excellent, plug right into the cable and you get all the basic’s with recording capabilities
– Bluetooth functionality is great if you need it
– 1TB hard drive
Now for the considerations before you buy
– All in one, so not too easy to change accessories, parts etc
– Only 4G RAM, a bit limited
– Hard drive makes an annoying clicking, if you are recording with the included webcam you can actually capture the harddrive noise (very irritating)
– Limited Tilt on the monitor
– NO HDMI or other video in, cannot use this monitor with any other video source, stuck with the current setup
– it’s big enough to take up your desktop — Good value
