Intel Presents 4 New Atom Processors For Netbooks and Nettops

Intel presented this week, without much fanfare, yes, a new quartet of processors that, at first, are designed to sneak into our future netbooks and nettops.

The first two belong to a later Cedar Trail range and correspond to the nomenclature D2500/D2700 and, say, their main task will be to give life to the next generation nettops. These chips are capable of operating at a frequency between 1.86 and 2.13 GHz in the case of the first, while the second raises the bar a little longer to move from 2.13 to 2.4 GHz, both have, also has a lower thermal power design of 10 watts.

The remaining two may assume in turn do the same in the netbooks that are coming, but while maintaining energy levels even more at the edge. So, the N2600 will acquire a TDP of less than 3.5W and a frequency of 1.6 or 1.86 GHz, while the N2800 will have 6.5W TDP and run at 1.86 or 2.13 GHz . How eager to dig a little deeper into their data sheets? You have all the details in the PDF document read link.
