Intel Pentium 350: 1.2 Ghz Dual Core in LGA1155, TDP 15W

Intel has announced a new ultra low power Pentium processor, since it has a TDP of only 15 watts. The Pentium 350 will certainly be an excellent choice to build a homemade NAS or maybe an unpretentious small HTPC .

This is a dual core processor with hyperthreading, engraved in 32 nm, clocked at 1.2 GHz and with 3 MB L3 cache. Despite its Sandy Bridge architecture and its LGA 1155 socket, it is not clear yet if it works with the motherboards in H61 or H67 chipset, because the main feature of the Pentium 350, in addition to its very low TDP of 15W, is n ‘no graphic circuit board .

So we imagine that some people will be interested to couple this small processor wit ha entry-level ATI or NVIDIA graphics card , either to get a living room PC or into a versatile NAS.
