Intel Mini-PC will cost about $400

According to sources close to production, the NUC will land in the third quarter at a price of $400. This system will integrate a Dual Core i3 coupled with a HM65 chipset with 4 GB of DDR3 in dual channel, a 40 GB mSATA SSD, HDMI, mini DisplayPort, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

Later, Intel would integrate the 7 series at the chipset and the 22 nm CPU . The NUC seen at Computex included a Core i5 Ivy Bridge with a Turbo Boost enabled at 2.70 GHz, also known as a cheaper Celeron, which could lower the price of the Quad-Core PCs.
