Habey BIS-6922: A fanless mini PC with a core i7 Ivy Bridge

It is not easy to offer a silent computer. Habey addresses this challenge with a radical solution, an entirely fanless mini-pc built around an Intel Core CPU.

This Habey BIS-6922 mini-pc comes with dimensions of 244mm × 156mm × 54mm while the cooling system does not use a fan.

To achieve a secure operation under acceptable temperature ranges, the idea is to use the box, all aluminum, as a huge heatsink.

Heat of the very active elements of the configuration benefits of a thermal system that carries the heat through the heat pipes to the walls of the chassis.

For the rest, the Habey BIS-6922 present an Intel Ivy Bridge or Sandy Bridge range of Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 with a QM67 or QM77 chipset . It has two memory slots (8GB DDR3, 1066/1333/1600MHz),  2.5-inch storage space, two Mini PCIe, a PCIe x16 and PCIe x4. Its power is provided by a module pico-ATX.

The connectivity consists of HDMI/DVI/VGA video outputs, a serial port, four USB 2.0 ports (eight in total) and two Ethernet ports (Intel 82579 + Intel 82574L) and classic audio jacks (Realtek ALC888 chip).
