Giada has announced a new small Mini ITX motherboard that might interest those who want to create a home NAS. The N70E-DR, as it is called, offers a Celeron 1007U Dual-Core, which runs at 1.5 GHz and embeds 2 MB L3 and a GMA HD. Besides that, it can host up to 16GB DDR3, and especially a multitude of SATA ports, two SATA III and four SATA II, all featuring RAID 0, 1, 5, 10.
Two Ethernet ports from Intel are present and the card has also a TPM chip to encrypt HDD data.
There are also two USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0 ports are available. The board has an active cooling system and has an is announced power consumption of 17 watts. No price yet.
