Denon begins to lift the veil on the first part of its new range of amplifiers for 2013, the Denon AVR-E200 is the most affordable model, but without new features compared to last year, the specifications remain exactly the same those of the AVR-1513.
The AVR-E200 is a conventional 5.1 amplifier equipped with a discrete amplification of 110 W per channel under 6 ohms, so 75 W / 8 ohms. It offers a Dolby True HD and DTS-HD, however not automatic calibration, all settings are manually with the possibility to switch to the setup wizard.
There are 4 inputs/1 output HDMI 1.4 (1080/24p, 3D, ARC …), but once again we see the gradual disappearance of the rest of the connectivity which comprises 2 inputs/1 output Composite, 3 stereo inputs RCA inputs, 1 Optical & Coaxial, Subwoofer output, 3.5 mm & 6.35 mm input mini-jack.
The target price is $250.
