Sound Blaster has launched 2 new models in Japan with the Sound Blaster Recon3D Professional Audio and Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion edition.
Both cards incorporate the new Creative Core3D audio processor. The Fatal1ty Champions model is very similar to Fatality Profesional model, but the main difference is that it includes a control panel similar to the panels of the old Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion series, ie, RCA audio input jack, 3mm microphone and headphones jacks, volume control (master) and microphone volume control.
Moreover, theSound Blaster Recon3D Professional Audio model takes a place among the Sound Blaster Recon3D and Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Professional, is very similar to its brothers, but comes with a 3.5mm RCA cable, Toslink optical cable, as well as with Creative Media Toolbox software.
Both cards also include a Sound Blaster Beamforming Microphone for use with Crystalvoice technology and a number of common characteristics being based on the Core3D Sound audio processor , for example, independent 4-core or DSP (Digital Signal Processors), 6-channel of 24-bit and 102dB digital to analog converter, a 4-channel of 24-bit and 101dB analog to digital converter, headphone amplifier, microphone digital interface, input and output S/PDIF and inputs and outputs for general purpose (GPIO ), among other features that vary by model.
These models of Cretive Recon3D Series use Creative PCIe x1 connections and will be available in February 2012, while the products previously announced mid this month.
