Gigabyte GA-B75TN and GA-H77TN: two new Thin Mini-ITX motherboards
Two new motherboards come to us from Gigabyte, the GA-B75TN and GA-H77TN in a Thin mini-ITX format, which is beginning to make its merry way with a large number of manufacturers, and suits perfectly for integration into an HTPC.
As the references names indicates, these motherboards use B75 and H77 chipset, and therefore the support of Sandy Bridge & Ivy Bridge processors. They can accommodate up to 8 GB DDR3 maximum via two SO-DIMM slots, two SATA 3 slots (1 on B75TN), two SATA 2 (3 on B75TN) and a mSATA port. The H77TN supports RAID 0/1/5/10, while the B75TN only supports VPro. They also have three PCIe, a mini PCi, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

Two weeks ago, we presented the ASRock FM2A85X-ITX, a super complete Mini ITX motherboard to the AMD’s second generation APUs.
