Sapphire Edge VS8 Nettop Review

Sapphire Edge VS8 Nettop Review
Our colleagues at TechSpot got their hands on the Sapphire Edge VS8, a small central unit 197 x 182 x 31mm and weighs only 660g. Inside you can find a AMD quadcore A8-4555M APU clocked at 1.6GHz with an HD 7600G GPU, 4GB of DDR3 and a 2.5″ 500GB HDD. About connectivity there is a miniDisplayPort, an HDMI, Gigabit LAN port, four USB 2 and two USB 3, an SD card reader, headphone and microphone jack and finally a SPDIF port. With this small nettop, Sapphire wanted to design a compact machine, but that is neither a tablet or a laptop, but rather a desktop great for an HTPC. For $505, is the Edge VS8  interesting? The response from our colleagues at techspot.com
