Thanks for the useful information, but I believe that the title of the review is very misleading. I do not see anything attractive about this motherboard, not even its price which is much too high for the reduced connectivity offered by it. This MB cannot be used for a computer, but only for a DVD player. For a player an older better & cheaper MB with Llano or Brazos would be OK. For a computer, you need DVI & DisplayPort, to be able to connect a decent monitor, so this MB is an unusable piece of junk. In my opinion, the minimum requirement for a MB is to allow the use of all the features provided by the processor, which include double-link DVI & DisplayPort for the FM2 processors. Beyond that, any MB manufacturer is free to add extra features that are believed to be desired by the customers, but not providing the minimum features could be justified only in a very cheap MB, e.g. one less than 80 USD, not in this one.

If not, then a lot of my moeshit is sadly not compatible. :-(

I recently picked up this Viera, and love it! It has the sharpest, clearest picture I’ve ever seen on a TV. I already had three HD sets in the house, and then last month through my job at Dish, I picked up a Hopper. The Hopper gives me DVR and HD to four different TVs. This has been awesome, as my in-laws have just moved in, and thanks to the addition of the Viera to the household and the abilities of the Hopper, everyone will be able to watch their shows in HD, and no one will have to miss a show because of a DVR timer conflict.

I was checking one of these LGs out in the store the other day and it looked incredible! But it was pretty far outside of my budget at the store. I’m finally getting a Hopper whole-home DVR installed soon, and because it’ll be sending my HD channels to every room, I don’t see any reason not to use it as an excuse to get rid of the SD TV sets we have and upgrade. So I’m trying to find the best TVs that I can, within a reasonable budget, especially since I’m going to be buying more than one at once. A coworker at Dish recommended LG too; he said he’s never had any problems with his. So I think I’ll probably just splurge a bit and pick this LG up for the living room. Thanks for all the info.

No doubt, did you say? Did you actually measure the improvement?
These settings are meant to artificially LIMIT the maximum number of CPUs and RAM used during the winNT boot process. By default, all of them were used. This is old news. In any case, don't forget that part of the boot process is not multithreadable.
