Watch live or deferred TV around the world, this is what @TV Plus proposes, announced today by Belkin. It provides access to streaming TV from a smartphone, an Android and IOS tablet or a laptop, works when a WiFi or 3G network is in range of one of its devices.
The operating mode of the @ TV Plus is presented as simple by the manufacturer, simply because the box is connected to the network (Ethernet or Wifi). The TV channels can be viewed on 8 devices simultaneously, with the only requirement that they must be connected to the home network and a device outside the network via the Cloud. Belkin also take this opportunity to publish the @TV Plus application available on App store and Google Play, to access the SurfSwipe channel guide, and record programs directly onto the internal memory of a smartphone or a touch pad. Recordings can then be read directly from the devices, or from a PC and Mac using the provided software.
The Belkin @TV Plus (G1V1000) will be available in August at an MSRP of $199.99.
