AMD Trinity: the A10-5700 demo in a fanless system

In Japan, the AMD team has unveiled a little surprise at the presentation of the Trinity APU: a fully fanless system. Ideal for an HTPC, for example, the machine used a Streacom FC5 case with an AMD A10-5700 APU.

This APU was mounted on an Asus F2A85-M Pro motherboard with 8GB of DDR3 and a Corsair Force GT SSD. Cooling has surely been slightly modified in order to fit to the FM2 socket, but the result is there and silence! Therefore, the Trinity APU says YES for a HTPC machine, and this A10-5700 with 65W TDP model could make an HTPC fan very pleased…
