Today, AMD has implemented new rates for processors listed in its catalog. Alongside a new benchmark, the AMD FX-4130, there was a price reduction that can exceed 20% on some models.
AMD prepares a comeback with prices revised downwards for most of its catalog of mainstream processors. Relayed by CPU World, this new pricing comes into effect on 27 August, shows a general readjustment, sometimes with variations, including the Llano and FX ranges. The Phenom II X4 955B and 965BE see their prices fall by more than 20%. Recall that prices expressed here are quoted in dollars, excluding tax per thousand units purchased.
A new reference finally makes its appearance with a FX-4130 quad-core / two modules clocked at 3.8 GHz (3.9 GHz in Turbo mode) and with 4 MB of L3 cache, a 125W TDP given . It will be slightly faster than the FX-4100 follows in the range, at the expense of higher power consumption.
