If the mini-ITX market is very small, it seems that more and more people are looking for configurations with reduced dimensions, as an HTPC, for example. Especially that miniaturization does not necessarily mean poor performance, and mini-ITX motherboards equipped with Intel Z77 chipset is a good example.
Our colleagues from Anandtech focused on the case of five of them, the ASRock Z77E-ITX, ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe, EVGA Z77 Stinger, and the Zotac Z77-ITX WiFi. After a detailed presentation of each, different measures and benchmarks are discussed, whether the power consumption, the starting time or, of course, the performance.
