3D Now: Transforming a 2D HDTV into a 3D TV

At the CEDIA, the young American company 3D Now presented a device, that allows any 2D diffuser capable of displaying a 1080p to benefit from a 3D image …

For this, it will of course have a 3D source such as a 3D Blu-ray or game console The only requirement is, however, to have a 1080p HDTV or video projector capable of running in 60 or 120 Hz. The infrared transmitter case is then responsible to synchronize with the 3D glasses, that has to be, of course, purchased separately.

There is still little information about this product, for now, the manufacturer is satisfied only to announce availability in Q1 2012 in the United States, for an unknown price.
